Recycled Glass - Topaz Collection
Recycled Glass - Topaz Collection

These tumblers, goblets, and vases are created from the upper portion of a recycled Californian Chardonnay bottle.
How does recycled glass become so beautiful? The transformation begins when our supplier receives bottles from recyclers all over North America, The bottles are washed and sterilized. The bottle is separated into two components; 'head' & 'base' . The 'head' (upper portion of the bottle) and 'base' (lower portion of the bottle) are smoothed, and then fire polished. The base becomes a tumbler (which we sell as well). The neck is then heated, twisted to close it off and finally the original mouth of the bottle is 'flared' to form the new foot of the glass. The newly formed tumblers and goblet s then travel through an annealing (tempering) oven to remove all residual stress in the glass.

Goblets: 8.5 oz

Tumblers: 11 oz

Another conversation piece! Reclaimed bed springs form the unique holder for the Topaz vase. The upper portion of a California wine bottle is 'twisted' closed to seal the bottle in a signature fashion. Can also be used for tea light candlholder too! (Partially fill with water before lighting).

This collection is made from 100% recycled glass and comes in both tumblers, goblets, and vases!
