Organic Mattress Pad |

Our machine-washable, classic-style mattress pads are made with organic materials. These pads use two layers of our cozy, organic flannel, quilted together (total thickness is no greater than 1/4"). Natural rubber and cotton elastic straps sewn to each corner secure the pad flat onto your mattress or futon.
Our organic cotton is grown and processed without oils, defoliants, pesticides, or artificial fertilizers, and certified by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Much of the bedding available from major retailers is made from polyester, and permanent-press sheets are treated with formaldehyde. Green Home recommends using bedding made from 100% chemically untreated cotton. Cotton also breathes more easily than synthetic fiber. Natural fibers help dissipate body heat, so you won't wake up with the cold, clammy feeling that synthetics can create. Increased air circulation means that you will sleep cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
