Unlike
polyester, cotton and wool allow moisture to pass through, so you won't wake up chilled. Because our comforters are constructed with wool batts, they provide even warmth - no cold gaps, as are common with down comforters.
Most commercial wool is cleaned through a process called carbonizing, which uses
hydrochloric acid. We wash our wool in hot water and soap instead. This can leave bits of vegetable matter in the wool. These bits are a sign that the wool has been processed naturally.
PLEASE NOTE: These items are made to order. Please allow 2 weeks for delivery. Handmade items incur a 25% restocking fee when returned unless damaged or defective. We recommend spot-washing this comfy comforter and covering it with a duvet cover. These comforters are tied, not quilted making them extra comfortable. Washing-machine use or dry-cleaning is not recommended.
