What about items
you don't list?
We've put together a list of items
that we believe will allow you to make the biggest
impact by purchasing wisely. We have also tried as hard
as we could to make it easy for you to get or find these
things in just a few clicks. However, there are
certainly other products out there that will allow to
make an impact on our world by buying them.
One of the more comprehensive sources
we've found of green items for the home is Greenhome.com. This for-profit site
offers a host of useful items, and even allows you to
shop room by room--from the attic to the basement, even
the yard and out to the garage. They also offer
resources to help you green your office and find green
supplies for those special events you got roped into
hosting.
Still can't find what you are looking for?
Some items aren't easily located online. (And even when
items are available online, it's often better to pick
them up locally than to incur the personal and
environmental costs of having them shipped.)
Fortunately, Co-op America has provided their online Green Pages that
includes both online and local sources for a wide
variety of green items. So if you can't find what you
need here, mosey on over to the Green Pages. If it
exists, they probably have a source for you.
